The 6th Model ECOWAS Summit, scheduled for May 26-30, 2026 in Accra, Ghana, is a premier regional leadership and diplomacy platform designed to prepare the next generation of African leaders for the realities of governance, cooperation, and peacebuilding in West Africa.

With the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Republic of Ghana, Academic City University, Centre for International Mediators and Arbitrator (CIMA)—Africa Headquarters in Ghana, Dakeauth GP Ltd, Dream Model UN, Mrs. Abiodun Essiet—Senior Special Assistant to the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria on Community Engagement (North Central), Beekle, Fewticket, ABJ-foundation and Focal Fm Radio 89.5mh, the Summit brings together young leaders, students, professionals, and emerging policymakers from across the ECOWAS sub-region to simulate high-level regional decision-making processes and address real policy challenges confronting West Africa today.

Guided by the theme “Peace, Stability and Social Cohesion: Unleashing the Power of Youth to Lead,” the Summit focuses on strengthening democratic governance, enhancing regional security, promoting social inclusion, and positioning youth as active leaders in shaping sustainable regional solutions.
